Cultural Activities

Assumption offers a rich variety of co curricular cultural activities for students at all levels. Debating, an annual drama production, drama club, talent contests, dance classes and many music ensembles.

In music, students have a choice of Senior and Junior Concert Band, Stage Band, Woodwind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, a Cappella Choir and student run rock bands.

Apart from giving students a living experience of these rich art forms, participation in cultural activities enriches a student’s life in many ways:

Working together cooperatively for a common goal.

Learning the art of presenting material to an audience.

Building self-esteem.

Striving for one’s personal best in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Contributing to the cultural and spiritual life of the school community and the wider community.
