Fee Structure
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are based on a per annum charge and are payable in three instalments on the 1st February, 1st April, 1st July, unless alternate arrangements are agreed to on the basis of the "2012 Tuition Fee Payment Return" form.

Boarding Fees (inclusive of Tuition Fees)

Special Circumstances
Where special, difficult circumstances exist, parents are invited to discuss these with the Principal or Business Manager with a view to lessening the financial burden incurred from choosing a Catholic Education.
Note
The fees outlined above include the cost of all core activities, including non-elective camps and travel costs.
Except as itemised below, there will be no additional charges made.
Additional charges will be restricted to the following
Elective Subjects
The cost of materials used in elective subjects will be charged as additional items as follows:
Technology including Wood, Metal, Textiles and Food related subjects...$45.00 per semester
Woodwork, Metalwork, Textiles, and Food materials for major purposes...At cost to students
VCAL, TAFE & VET Courses
Fees vary according to the course chosen, and families will be advised of fees by letter.
Subject specific excursions or competitions
Because of the wide range of subject choices available, it is not possible to include the cost of all excursions/competitions in the standard fee. Thus, the cost of subject specific excursions/competitions as detailed with the 2012 Fees Package will be charged separately.
Extra sporting events
The cost of travel associated with all inter-school sporting and cultural activities is included in the standard fee. The cost of travel associated with other activities will be charged on a user pays basis. Examples of such activities are the Sacred Heart College Adelaide Exchange, and sports events against non-school teams.
Bussing for day students
Day students accessing the bussing service to and from school will be charged separately on a per family basis.
Printing and Photocopying
To assist in managing these costs and resources, the allowances for these is capped according to year level.
Fee Payments in Advance
For all students commencing at the college in the year 2010 or after, a Fee Payment in Advance of $1500 must be paid in the term before commencing at Assumption College. This payment will come off the fee account in the final year of the students' stay at the school.
Year 9
With planned rollout of personal mobile devices during the 2012 year, students may be required to purchase applications for a mobile tablet supplied by the school. This should not exceed $50. Further information to follow.
