Applicants for this position are required to have a genuine interest in facilitating a focus on building a Christian community within the Catholic tradition. Appropriate welfare qualifications and/or experience working with young people would be an advantage. A current Working with Children Certification is required.

Applications are invited for the following:
Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced laboratory technician to join our Science team. The successful applicant will be required to manage and work in a team of three laboratory technicians. The primary focus of the laboratory technician is to work closely with the Science coordinator to support the teaching and learning environment of the faculty.
This position is ongoing full time and will commence at the beginning of the 2009 school year.
The successful applicant must:
- have knowledge and successful laboratory experience, preferably in a school environment;
- demonstrate high level of work standards, including the ability to use initiative, work reliably without supervision, prioritise workloads to meet the challenge of changing daily demands and deadlines, work effectively as part of a small team and maintain a flexible approach to work;
- possess high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to converse confidently with a diverse range of individuals;
- have effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
