Buildings and Grounds
Assumption College was not always situated on its present site. In 1893, the first Assumption College building was situated on the Eastern side of the Highway, a building which is now part of the Kilmore International School. In the early 1900's Assumption College began on its current site in Shandon House, the building pictured here.
Since that time the school has expanded to cater for the ever increasing demands of student numbers as well as the growth and range of curriculum offerings. Fortunately we have been able to maintain a sense of openness and space, with several sports fields and wonderful gardens among the various buildings.
Some of the major buildings are shown in the following pages.
