Administration

The Administration Centre was opened in 2002.

The centre comprises Reception, the offices of the Principal, Deputy Principals, Business Manager, Registrar, Director of Teaching & Learning, Staff Professional Development Director, Accounts Payable & Receivable, the Assumption College Bus Office, the ICT Manager, Student Administrative Support Officers and the Principal's PA as well as the Staff Lounge and Staff Computer Centre. 

Prior to 2002 and its major refurbishment, the building housed the Year 12 Boys Boarding facility.  For around 15 years, the Year 12 boys were housed in a complex where they had twin share rooms.  As boarding numbers declined, the need for this building lessened and for a number of years it lay idle.  Former Principal Br Fons Van Rooij saw the potential of the site and with significant modification created a modern, functional administrative centre.

Vestiges of the previous building can be seen towards the back of the Administration Centre, where the Infirmary is currently housed.
